Pilates is a movement system that strengthens the body while increasing flexibity and proper postural alignment.

Its fundamental principle is to engage core stabilizers – the deepest muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvis – while progressing through an exercise series of varied range and intensity.

Align instructors apply these principles, in combination with other methodologies, to achieve core strenghtening and endurance or rehabilitation and preventative maintenance necessary to condition and shape your body to work at its best.

Pilates may be practiced in private, duet, or group class sessions. Private sessions are 55 minutes and scheduled on an individual basis.
